(FOX40.COM) — A Sacramento man who stole nearly $1 million from several different credit cards was recently sentenced to prison.
According to court documents, between November 2017 and March 2019, Steven Raymon Waller, 46, used stolen credit card numbers to buy at least $927,000 worth of gift cards from a national retailer.

Waller was sentenced on Dec. 17, 2024, to 39 months in prison for access device fraud. In addition to the prison sentence, Judge Dale A. Drozd ordered him to serve three years of supervised release and to pay $927,000 in restitution to the retailer.
This case was the product of an investigation by the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Assistant United States Attorney Nicholas M. Fogg prosecuted the case.
