One suspect was caught immediately and a K9 deputy tracked a second through dense brush and up a hill before they surrendered.
One of the suspects was an 18-year-old man from Rancho Cordova and the other was a 20-year-old man from Elverta.
The three other thieves escaped and are still being sought by law enforcement.
