Sacramento, CA – A powerful winter storm dumped heavy snow across Northern California over the past 24 hours, with more on the way. The Sierra Nevada saw significant accumulations, impacting travel and outdoor activities.
According to the National Weather Service (NWS) Sacramento, Castle Peak received 18 inches of snow, while Soda Springs recorded 15 inches. Sierra Snow Lab measured 10.6 inches, and Yuba Pass saw 8 inches.
