SACRAMENTO, Calif. — A woman killed in a church parking lot shooting Friday in Sacramento has been identified.
Dawn Nicole Wagner, 50, was pronounced dead around 5:45 p.m. along the 7500 block of Center Parkway, according to the Sacramento County Coroner’s Office. St. Luke’s Lutheran Church said Wagner was there seeking comfort and support.
“We pray for her family and friends,” the church said in a statement Friday evening. “We pray for the communities she was a part of, who will feel her absence. We pray for St. Luke’s and the neighborhood that holds us, that we may see the tragedy before us all and come together to find healing in community.”…
