In December 2024, a commercial burglary occurred at a medical office in unincorporated Mill Valley. A suspicious male was seen loitering inside the office. A therapist found the man inside her private office. When confronted, he claimed he was seeking treatment for a knee injury; however, the therapist did not treat knees.
Shortly after the man left, multiple physical therapists in the office discovered that several bank cards were missing from their wallets and purses. Following the theft, victims reported fraudulent charges on their stolen cards.
