West Sac PD unveils new crime statistic tool

(FOX40.COM) — On Wednesday night, the West Sacramento Police Department unveiled a new transparency tool for residents called Commons. It gives the public direct access to criminal justice data in West Sacramento.

WSPD is working with the national non-profit Measures for Justice and has been guided by a community advisory board. It’s the first of its kind in Northern California, a resource WSPD hopes will build community trust.
