(FOX40.COM) — The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Regional Enforcement of all crimes team conducted a traffic stop on the southern side of Sacramento County, which led to 54 pounds of powdered fentanyl being seized.• Video above: How deadly is fentanyl?
According to SCSO, the traffic stop was caused by multiple vehicle code violations. Sheriff’s K9 Ronan was deployed and alerted to the order of the narcotics within the vehicle.
After a search was conducted, crews found two duffel bags that contained 23 bricks of powdered fentanyl with a total of 54.4 pounds, stated SCSO. The driver has been identified as Hector Nunez, 31, of Perris…
