(FOX40.COM) — A woman is dead after she ran herself over with a car, according to the Sacramento Police Department.
Around 6 p.m., officers responded to the 7400 block of Rushriver Drive for reports of a vehicle and pedestrian collision. When officers arrived at the scene, they found a woman with severe injuries. Despite medical aid, she was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said the woman “appears to have been the one operating the vehicle when it accidentally collided with her.” After being hit, the woman was pinned to a parked vehicle. Additionally, there were two juveniles in the vehicle, but they were not injured, according to SPD.
