Rio Linda, CA – Rite Aid, the struggling retail pharmacy chain, has announced another round of store closures as it continues to navigate its second bankruptcy filing. This latest list adds over 100 locations to the closure roster, bringing the total number of stores designated for closure since May to more than 700.
While the closures span nearly a dozen states, California is particularly hard-hit, with over 50 stores identified for closure in this round alone. These closures, like previous ones, are pending court approval and could face objections, but Rite Aid has officially marked these locations for closure.
