Eugene Brooks, a 23-year-old Sacramento resident, turned himself in at the Sacramento County Main Jail on Tuesday. He is facing homicide-related charges in connection to the recent stabbing on Rio Linda Boulevard that resulted in the death of an adult male, according to the Sacramento Police Department on their X account.

Just before 1 a.m., police responded to a call on the 2700 block of Rio Linda Boulevard and found a man with stab wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene. No suspect information was available at the time, and the victim’s identity was not released pending notification of next of kin, as reported by Hoodline.
