A man was arrested in Sacramento following a three-hour standoff with deputies. The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office said 27-year-old Yashdeep Singh is facing several charges. Deputies responded just after 8 a.m. to reports of vandalism and assault with a deadly weapon. K9 Philbert was also at the scene.
Singh reportedly barricaded himself inside a home and threatened to kill people and stab deputies if the Sheriff’s Office did not leave. Authorities set up a perimeter, evacuated nearby residents, and tried to contact him. At one point, Singh went onto the roof.
