(KRON) — In the latest round of seemingly unrelenting layoffs, Intel cut hundreds more Bay Area jobs Tuesday. According to state filings with the Employment Development Department, the chipmaker slashed 387 jobs at its Robert Noyce campus on Mission College Boulevard in Santa Clara.
Across Santa Clara, another 49 jobs were cut at the company’s two Bowers Avenue locations, along with 13 at Laurelwood Road. At the company’s two facilities on Santa Clara’s Juliette Lane, another 287 jobs were cut, bringing the total number of Bay Area layoffs to 736.

Intel also laid off an additional 344 workers at its Folsom facility in Sacramento County. The layoffs, which went into effect Tuesday, were all permanent according to the EDD filing.
Layoffs at Intel have been coming in fast and thick. Just last week, Intel cut over 400 Bay Area jobs and another 184 in Sacramento County. Those job cuts followed two earlier rounds of layoffs this summer…
