A shelter-in-place order in a Vallejo neighborhood that began since noon due to what Solano County officials described as “police activity” was lifted about seven hours later, according to an Alert Solano notification.
Vallejo police on Wednesday afternoon ordered some residents to shelter in an area near the 400 block of Illinois Street after officers received multiple reports of a person brandishing a gun in the neighborhood around 9:45 a.m. Upon arrival, they learned that the suspect had left the scene, according to a Vallejo police spokesperson.
