SACRAMENTO, CA (MPG) – On July 24, at approximately 11:14 p.m., Sacramento Communications Center (SCC) broadcast a call of an iPhone crash notification near Hood Franklin Road at Franklin Road.
Preliminary investigation indicates that at approximately 11:10 p.m., a 52-year-old male was driving his Lexus eastbound on Hood Franklin Road east of I-5 at an unknown speed.
For an unknown reason, the driver allowed his Lexus to cross the westbound lane, leave the roadway and strike a tree on the north roadway edge. The driver succumbed to his injuries on scene…
