‘Slow down!’: West Sacramento police seize car after driver speeds 100 mph in 45 zone

(FOX40.COM) — A car was impounded after the driver was found to be traveling at 100 mph in a 45 zone, according to the West Sacramento Police Department. • Video Above: Which states have the worst drivers?

On Wednesday, WSPD pulled over a driver who was allegedly speeding near Jefferson Boulevard and Alameda Street. For everyone’s safety, police said the vehicle was impounded on the spot.

“Slow down!”, WSPD said. “Speeding isn’t just illegal — it puts you, other drivers, pedestrians, and bicyclists at serious risk. Please observe posted speed limits, pay attention to your surroundings, and help keep our streets safe for everyone.”
