New K9 Unit Falco Tracks Down Armed Robbery Suspect in Sacramento County

A recent addition to the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office, K9 Falco, has made his mark by tracking down an armed robbery suspect. The Sheriff’s Office reported via their official Facebook page that the 29-year-old suspect Garry Ward was apprehended after a 21-year-old woman called 911 on August 8, informing authorities she had been robbed at gunpoint near Elkhorn Boulevard and Thomas Drive.

The alleged robbery led to a quick response from sheriff’s deputies, who immediately surrounded the area and initiated a K9 search with Falco.
