Disabled Student Detained by Immigration Agents Outside High School, LAUSD Says

A 15-year-old student with special needs was handcuffed by immigration officers outside Arleta High School on Monday, according to the Los Angeles Unified School District.

The district says the student was sitting in a vehicle with his grandmother while his sister was signing up for classes. Agents approached the vehicle and reportedly pulled the boy out before handcuffing him. The agents had their guns drawn and allegedly left ammunition behind on the ground when they left.
