Folsom Kohl’s shoplifting call nets felony arrests, fentanyl,stolen vehicle

A pair of suspects are behind bars after Folsom police officers interrupted a shoplifting in progress at Kohl’s on Tuesday, August 12, leading to arrests tied to organized retail theft, narcotics possession, and a stolen vehicle.

According to police, officers were dispatched to the Kohl’s store for a reported theft in progress. When they arrived, they saw a man in the parking lot pushing a boxed Ninja Creami appliance through the open window of a Toyota Highlander, where two other individuals were already inside.

All three subjects were immediately detained. The male suspect initially attempted to conceal his identity by providing false information, but officers later confirmed his name and determined he was on active probation. A search of his belongings turned up methamphetamine, police said…
