WEST SACRAMENTO, CA — Earlier this week, West Sacramento police officers arrested two individuals following a reckless driving incident near Sycamore Avenue and Merkley Avenue.
According to the department, a patrol unit observed a white Ford coupe performing donuts at multiple intersections. Officers attempted a traffic stop, but the driver fled at a high rate of speed. A brief pursuit ensued and ended when the vehicle pulled into a residential driveway. Both the driver and a passenger then ran into a nearby residence.
Police quickly established a perimeter and used a loudspeaker to call for the individuals to exit the home. A short time later, both subjects complied and were safely detained…
