Man killed in Oak Park house explosion identified

(FOX40.COM) — On Thursday, the Sacramento County Coroner’s Office confirmed the identity of the man who died in the Oak Park house fire explosion from Aug. 21.

The Sacramento Fire Department reported that around 6 a.m. near 4019 39th Street, a fire broke out in a residence due to an explosion. One person was found dead, who was later identified as Karl Lysinger.

At least one neighbor told FOX40 that the man who lived at the house had previously threatened to blow it up as he underwent an eviction process.

The cause of the fire and explosion is still under investigation…
