FOLSOM, Calif. — Lightning from this week’s storm didn’t just spark wildfires, it also damaged a home in Folsom.
The strike happened around 6 a.m. Tuesday at a home near Mangini Parkway, leaving behind visible roof damage. Homeowner Julian Philipp said the impact blew shingles off his Folsom Ranch house and left part of the eave charred.
“The shingles and stuff like that got blown off,” said Philipp. “Here is the piece of the eave, it’s pretty charred.”…
