Jonathan Hatami | Sacramento Radicals at it Again

The radicals in Sacramento are at it again, this time with Assembly Bill 1231. So, let’s talk about this bill.

First it’s titled “The Safer Communities Through Opportunities Act.” Who would be against that? Nobody. But, anytime the radicals in California place “Safer” in their bill or proposition, it is rarely “Safer.” It is meant to trick you. It is meant to elicit empathy.

Second, who is against thoughtful diversion programs and rehabilitation? Nobody. But here are some of the crimes included in this bill: felony child abuse; felony corporal injury to child; felony assault likely to cause great bodily injury; felony false imprisonment; felony possession of a firearm by a felon; felony purchasing sex from a minor who is 16 or 17 years old; felony second degree burglary; felony looting; felony maintaining a drug house; felony possession of methamphetamine, PCP or fentanyl for sale…
