(FOX40.COM) — The Sacramento County Coroner’s Office identified the Ponder Environmental Services worker who was rescued after fainting inside a gas tank at Costco in North Sacramento as Ashkan Abbashashe Moghadda, 37, of Berkeley.
The Sacramento Fire Department was called to the Costco on Expo Parkway at around 10:45 a.m. on Monday for a special issue. A coworker had reported that Moghadda had slid down the last portion of the ladder and passed out.
SFD said firefighters arrived at the scene and set up a tripod with a rope system to allow the rescue team to pull Moghadda out. Due to the lack of oxygen caused by the fumes, the firefighters had to be supplied with air because of the hazardous environment…
