SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Three people were arrested for their involvement in a COVID-related unemployment insurance fraud scheme targeting the California Employment Development Department.
The arrests were part of a coordinated effort by several law enforcement agencies, according to the U.S. Attorney’s office.
Yolanda Butler and her son, Legerrius Holt, both formerly from Stockton, were arrested in Oklahoma and Colorado, respectively. Quamaine Massey, formerly of North Carolina, was arrested in Ohio.
