(FOX40.COM) — A 34-year-old Sacramento man has been arrested in connection with threats and a fight at a junior high school. • Video Above: How to report a public safety threat
According to the Sacramento Police Department, officers launched an investigation after a fight at a local junior high school and a series of threats circulating online. SPD did not specify the school that was involved.
The investigation led to the arrest of Jose Gomez, a parent of one of the students involved in the fight, and a search warrant being issued for his residence. During the execution of the search warrant, SPD said they found a stolen handgun, two additional handguns, an AK-47 style rifle, an AR-15 style rifle, several ounces of cocaine, and cash.
