FOLSOM, Calif. — A man dead after a barricade situation and fire two weeks ago in Folsom has been identified.
Eren Keith Powers, 56, of Folsom, died Tuesday, Sept. 9, per the Sacramento County Coroner’s Office. Authorities responded around 5:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 8 to River Ridge Way for an armed person inside a home, the Folsom Police Department said.
“They’d responded to the home where we were told there’s a subject inside the home with a gun,” Lt. Lou Wright said. “Responding officers conducted their investigation, were unable to make contact with a subject inside the home, and were actually getting ready to leave the residence.”…
