The Folsom Police Department reported an arrest following an incident involving a firearm over the weekend. Last Saturday around E. Bidwell Street, and what is correctly Old Placerville Road, officers responded to a situation at Chevron where a man was seen brandishing a handgun during a confrontation with several juveniles.
According to a social media post by the Folsom Police, the quick-acting officers managed to detain the suspect, identified as 52-year-old Jacob Gelegan, without any resulting injuries.
