Massive Northern California bust: Police seize 60 guns, pounds of cocaine

(FOX40.COM) — A man was arrested after a massive bust in Northern California led to the discovery of 60 guns and several pounds of illegal drugs. • Video Above: Most commonly reported crimes in the U.S.

Last week, the Napa County Sheriff’s Office said a search warrant was served on Fairbanks Court in Dixon. During the execution of the warrant, Filiberto Martinez, 36, of Dixon, was pulled over and detained. Martinez was connected to the residence, according to NCSO.

As a result of the traffic stop and search warrant, law enforcement said they discovered about 4 pounds of cocaine, 1 pound a methamphetamine, various vials of steroids, scales, drug packaging materials, and $8551 in cash.

Additionally, 60 firearms were seized, including loaded pistols, rifles, machine guns, shotguns, and a Glock pistol that had an automatic conversion switch, according to NSSO. Multiple short-barreled rifles (AR-15 and AK-47 variants), some with suppressors and numerous high-capacity magazines for Glocks, AK-47s, and AR-15s were also seized.

NCSO said the firearms were found stored (and loaded with ammunition) in multiple vehicles and the bedrooms of the home (including three juveniles’ bedrooms)…
