A 39-year-old Roseville resident was arrested Tuesday morning after a series of vehicle pursuits across Placer and Sacramento counties that began with a suspected DUI stop.
According to Roseville police, an officer attempted to stop the man around 5 a.m. near the 500 block of Riverside Avenue. The driver fled, police said, prompting a pursuit that was later called off due to high speeds on Interstate 80.
Officers later identified the suspect and spotted the white BMW again around 8 a.m. near Sixth and E streets, according to Roseville Police Department spokesperson Sgt. Nick Gaines. A second pursuit was initiated but called off due to the vehicle’s dangerous driving, he said…
