(FOX40.COM) — A man was convicted of first-degree murder on Sept. 30 for the killing of 66-year-old Clara Miller in 1981, according to the Sacramento County District Attorney’s Office.
Officials said Arties Johnson kicked in Miller’s front door on Dec. 16, 1981, leaving behind a boot print. Johnson then beat, strangled and stabbed the victim multiple times, leaving the knife inside of her.
