Sacramento County has rolled out a new property tax system designed to streamline billing, payments, and refunds for property owners.
The system, called TaxSys, replaces decades-old technology dating back to the 1980s. County officials said the upgrade will improve efficiency, security, and usability for taxpayers and staff alike. More than 400,000 secured property tax bills are being mailed to residents. Payments are due beginning Nov. 1, and updated bill information is already available on the county’s website.
