Bankrupt Spirit Airlines furloughs pilots, ends service to Sacramento airport

(FOX40.COM) — The ultra-low-cost Spirit Airlines said on Thursday that it will furlough another 365 pilots in early 2026 in an attempt to save funds after filing for bankruptcy on Aug. 29 for the second time.
