Bay Area deputies investigate the release of a homicide suspect linked to Sacramento

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Authorities are searching for a homicide suspect released Wednesday from Contra Costa County jail who was also being held on a juvenile warrant out of Sacramento.

Isaiah Jamon Andrews, 20, of Washington state, was released from the Martinez Detention Facility on Court Street, and the Contra Costa County Sheriff’s Office said it’s investigating how his release happened.

As of Wednesday, Andrews had been held on an out-of-state arrest warrant for homicide, a juvenile warrant from Sacramento and local charges, deputies wrote in their news release…
