Vallejo Police Arrest Driver Suspected of Possessing Stolen Firearm and Methamphetamine Following Traffic Stop

A routine patrol morphed into a significant bust last Monday, when Vallejo Police Department officers pulled over a gray Honda Accord. According to a social media post by the Vallejo Police Department, at around 9:10 PM, the car was spotted cruising without license plates down Sutter Street.

Upon detention of the vehicle in the 600 block of Indiana Street, the man at the wheel, whose license was found to be suspended, was immediately ensnared by the long arm of the law. The driver, already on the hook for probation in Solano County, was no stranger to the system, with a prior for being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm. Vallejo Police conducted a probation compliance search, which is standard protocol for individuals under such legal constraints.
