Bay Area police arrest man on suspicion of human trafficking

Vallejo police arrested a man on suspicion of sexual trafficking and rescued a juvenile who was reported missing in Southern California, police said.

Justen Allen Powell, 26, was arrested and booked into the Solano County jail on suspicion of multiple felonies, including pimping and pandering, kidnapping and unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor, the Vallejo Police Department said in a statement.

Vallejo police arrested Powell after rescuing a juvenile on Monday whose family said was being held and sexually exploited at a hotel in the 400 block of Fairgrounds Drive.
