Roseville Police Arrest Two Suspects Following SWAT Response to Burglary

Residents and visitors of Roseville experienced heightened police activity as the Roseville Police Department and their SWAT team responded to a burglary in progress on the 500 block of 6th Street. The department, in an update on their Facebook page, informed the community that after a thorough investigation, they arrested two individuals—Gene Tully of Sacramento and Robin Robertsonmattox of Rio Linda—in connection to the burglary.

In the social media post, the Roseville Police shared that Tully, 57, was booked on charges of Burglary (459 PC), Conspiracy (182 PC), and Obstruction (148 PC), while Robertsonmattox, 26, faced charges of Burglary (459 PC) and Conspiracy (182 PC). “The scene is now clear, and officers have left the area,” the department stated, providing a sense of relief after the incident caused them to secure the perimeter and temporarily ask residents to avoid the affected area…
