The City of Sacramento released its weekly report on homelessness efforts for November 3 to November 9, 2025. During this time, the city’s 311 service received 547 calls about unsheltered individuals. These calls led to 2,151 cases being opened. One call can result in several cases.
The city began reporting ‘total cases opened’ in July 2025 to show more detail about its response. The Incident Management Team closed 2,992 cases during the week. This means the issues were resolved, compliance was met, or the situation no longer existed after inspection.
