5-year-old boy, two adults hurt after SUV broadsided in Sacramento

SACRAMENTO, Calif — A 5-year-old boy and two adults were hurt Sunday afternoon after a Sacramento County crash in which no one involved was wearing a seat belt, authorities said.

Just south of Marconi Avenue, a woman driving an SUV was trying to turn onto southbound Fulton Avenue from a parking lot on the east side of the road, per the California Highway Patrol. Officials first started releasing information around 1:45 p.m.

Vehicles in the No. 2 lane stopped, while a sedan in the No. 1 lane traveling at 40 mph broadsided the SUV on the driver’s side, law enforcement said…
