(FOX40.COM) — The California Highway Patrol North Sacramento Division said it conducted a traffic stop on a reckless driver on I-80 near Fulton Avenue on Saturday. • Video above: How to report a public safety threat
According to CHP, officers discovered the driver was a convicted felon in possession of suspected narcotics for sale, as well as a loaded firearm equipped with a high-capacity magazine.

CHP said the driver was arrested on multiple felony charges and booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail.
“Great work by our NSAC officers for staying vigilant and keeping our community safe,” CHP said.
Police have not released the name of the driver at this time…
