Sacramento Police Arrest Carmichael Man, Dairous Oliver, on Weapons Charges After Del Paso Heights Incident

An incident involving three individuals reportedly armed with guns took place in Del Paso Heights, leading to the arrest of a 20-year-old man identified as Dairous Oliver of Carmichael. According to a social media post by the Sacramento Police Department (SPD), officers responded to a call on November 18 where two juveniles were found carrying imitation firearms, with one also having an outstanding felony warrant.

Carrying a real firearm, the third individual, Oliver, fled from officers on foot after they found a revolver in his backpack. A SPD K9 officer later saw running through a residential backyard the suspect, leading to the deployment of a K9 unit that safely apprehended him. Oliver now faces weapons-related charges stemming from the incident.
