Police arrest two men after string of Roseville, Rocklin auto burglaries

Roseville police arrested two men early Tuesday in connection with a series of auto burglaries reported in Roseville and Rocklin, authorities said.

Officers responded about 4:30 a.m. to multiple vehicle break-ins outside the Home2 Suites hotel on the 1900 block of Freedom Way, according to a statement from the department. Witnesses also reported seeing a black Chevrolet Impala believed to be tied to those burglaries and others reported in Rocklin a day earlier.

Police said officers later spotted the suspect vehicle on Blue Oaks Boulevard near Highway 65 and conducted a traffic stop. The driver remained in the car, but the passenger fled across the freeway before being apprehended by waiting officers…
