A 21-year-old Fairfield resident was arrested on suspicion of fatally shooting a man on Sunday afternoon, police said.
The 40-year-old victim was shot around 1:10 p.m. on Cambridge Drive, not far from Veterans Memorial Park in the Solano County city. Fairfield police officers and fire personnel provided medical aid to the victim, but he did not survive, police said.
