Truck theft suspects caught in Sacramento and Manteca

CALIFORNIA — On Thursday, the Sutter County Sheriff’s Office officials say authorities have arrested three men in connection with a series of semi-truck and trailer thefts across Northern California.

Officials in a press release stated that the thefts began on August 3, when a truck and trailer carrying approximately $400,000 worth of product were stolen from Larkin Road in Live Oak. The Woodland Police Department later found the trailer abandoned and empty, while the Sacramento Police Department recovered the truck.

On August 25, another alleged attempted theft occurred on Paseo Road, prompting deputies to suspect the same individuals were involved in both incidents…
