Part of ‘Happiness’ statue stolen in North Sacramento, police seek community help

(FOX40.COM) — The Sacramento Police Department is asking for the community’s help in finding “Happiness,” a statue partially stolen in North Sacramento. • Video above: How to report a public safety threat

The bronze statue is of a woman and a little girl, located at the 2100 block of Del Paso Boulevard near Cantalier and Oakmont streets. SPD reported on X that a portion of the statue was stolen on Dec. 6.

Sacramento police said the portion that is missing is the mother statue with the hat on.

According to the Public Art Archive website, the statue was designed in 2007 by an artist named Numan Begovic and is placed on the Del Paso Boulevard Streetscape alongside other artworks done by them…
