Citrus Heights police recover thousands of dollars worth of stolen retail merchandise

(FOX40.COM) — Three people were arrested after they grabbed thousands of dollars worth of merchandise and ran out of a local retailer without paying. • Video Above: What to do if you witness a crime?

The Citrus Heights Police Department said it recently responded to a grand theft report from a retail store on Sunrise Boulevard. According to the report, three theft suspects entered the store and grabbed armfuls of merchandise within just a few minutes. They fled in a Jeep that displayed a paper license plate.

“Thanks to quick reporting, sharp observations, and proactive policing, an alert officer located the suspect vehicle minutes later,” CHPD said.

The suspects were found near Greenback Lane and Bremen Drive. They were identified as Tabitha Fisher, 32, Davis Turner, 39, and Jonathan Gilchrist, 53.
