Sacramento allocates $1.3 million to combat youth homelessness

(FOX40.COM) — A total of $1.3 million in streamlined contracts was approved by the Sacramento City Council to support transitional-aged youth experiencing homelessness.

On Dec. 9, the council approved contracts to fund:

  • Waking the Village’s Village Youth Shelter Program
  • Wind Youth Services’ Common Ground Shelter Program
  • Sacramento LGBT Community Center’s Short-Term Transitional Emergency Program
  • LGBT Center’s Transitional Living Program
