82 people arrested, 14k recovered in Roseville retail theft operation, police say

(FOX40.COM) — The Roseville Police Department announced that 82 people were arrested, and around $14,200 was recovered during a four-day retail theft operation.

RPD said Operation Grinch involved the Placer County Sheriff’s Office, Rocklin PD, Placer County District Attorney Investigators, California Highway Patrol, Placer Probation, Elk Grove PD and the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office.

“We made Whoeville proud as we conducted extensive retail theft enforcement upon those who would impose their Grinchy philosophy on our Roseville businesses and citizens during the holiday season,” RPD posted on social media…
