Man shot, killed by Dixon police officer identified

DIXON, Calif. — The man shot and killed by a police officer earlier this month in Dixon has been identified.

Nathan Arthur Dew, 61, allegedly led officers on a car chase around 6 p.m. Dec. 7 before he pulled over, displayed a black handgun while seated in his vehicle, then got out holding the gun and raised it in the direction of police, according to the Solano County District Attorney’s Office.
