ELVERTA — Sacramento County Regional Parks has officially announced the addition of a new Community Garden at Gibson Ranch Regional Park, bringing a new opportunity for residents to grow their own food right in the heart of the Rio Linda and Elverta area.
While the project was officially announced by the County just this week, registration for garden plots has actually been open since December 1st. Residents interested in securing a space for the upcoming growing season are encouraged to act quickly, as availability may be limited given the early opening of the application window.
