In a statement released on their social media platforms, the West Sacramento Police Department reported a significant drug bust that involved the arrest of two individuals found unconscious in a car laden with narcotics and a firearm. According to the West Sacramento Police Department’s Facebook post, officers responded to a call, which led them to a vehicle containing approximately 42 grams of suspected fentanyl, quantities of suspected methamphetamine, suspected mushrooms, over $4,000 in cash, and a loaded gun, in addition to visible drug paraphernalia.
The discovery unfolded after officers flagged the presence of contraband within plain view upon their arrival at the scene. The individuals, whose names have not been disclosed, were detained and consequently arrested following a comprehensive search that revealed the hallmarks of drug sales.
